From the first step on the island, Shaman Taine asks us to
take a look around. The best way to do that is to find a high vantage point. Look, here’s a
tall tree that Samantha can easily
climb up!
Climbing a tree requires 25 energy and 1 rope ladder
Luckily, such trees grow all over the island so we will be able to use them to move farther into the island.
After setting up
camp we can move to our main objective — look for the royal gift for the Serpent King. In order to pitch a
tent we’ll need 20 bamboo, 3 ropes, and 7 lattices. Making a
fire is a good idea, too. Bring 10 wood, 7 stones, and 1 torch to do that.
Taine says there are plenty of
caves on the Island of Mountain Gems where we can find
precious stones that the King relishes. We need to get to the heart of each of the
three caves on the island and find the precious stones:
emerald,
sapphire, and
ruby. But it takes a lot of strength to conquer a cave, and Taine advises
to make clam chowder in the camp to give you enough energy. Make your way through the jungle to collect as many
wild onions as you can find around the island — it is
one of clam chowder’s main ingredients.
Collect it by hand (35 energy) or using a basket (25 energy and 1 basket)
Don’t miss the
reeds either, we will need them
to weave fishing traps in our camp
for catching clams — another ingredient for the chowder.
Cutting down a reed requires 25 energy
Conquering a cave is not easy — each time you
explore a cave it will take
5 clam chowders, 3 ropes and 10 torches.
When we finally
get hold of all three gems, it is time to visit the Serpent King on the Island of the Snake Temple.
