We arrive at the Island of the Ancient Mandrake to look for mandrake root, the last ingredient for the potion of foresight.

Immediately, Talissa the Seer notices something: the precious mandrake plantations seem lifeless. However, Ayra the Herbalist is here and should know what to do. Samantha overheard her talking with Nur, the village potion-maker. Nur says the mandrake queen is ill. We need to find and save her!

When we find the mandrake queen, Ayra notices dark thorns around her – they must be the cause of her illness. The same thorns also grow around the Dark Kraken’s totems. Let’s destroy them!

Break a totem with 20 energy or burn it with 2 torches and 10 energy.

Destroying the thorns and totems was not enough. Nur knows the most about the mandrake queen, and he says the queen can’t live without her family. We need to take a sapling from her and plant it near the mineral spring so it can grow fast in a healthy environment.

The mandrake sapling grows fast near the spring, but it will dry out soon if there are no other mandrakes near it.

Find garden beds all over the higher part of the island to plant little mandrakes, and wait for them to grow.

It appears that it will take a few months for the new mandrakes to produce roots, but we don’t have that long. Perhaps there’s a way to speed up the process. The jungle has pink quartz crystals. Collect minerals from them and give them to Ayra so she can make fertilizer!

Ayra can make 1 portion of fertilizer from 6 pink quartz crystals in 30 minutes.

When the fertilizer is ready, we can revive the withered mandrakes. Search the island for the withered plants.

We’ll need 3 energy and 1 fertilizer to revive 1 plant.

It works, and the mandrake family is thriving again! Now we can collect the root from the mandrake queen and use it to make the potion of foresight.

Talissa drinks the potion and sees nothing, but hears noises that make her think of caves. She believes we’ll find the dragon on the Island of Forbidden Caves.

Hint: there is a wishing well in the jungles of the Island of the Ancient Mandrake. Try tossing some coins in it and see what happens!
