Diamonds serve as a unique currency that allows you to speed up your progress and instantly purchase items and resources that you lack. There are a few ways to get them:
  1. Increase your level.
  2. Complete missions.
  3. Find chests and piles of treasure hidden throughout the game world.
  4. Get them from chests received for filling orders on the board. (Diamonds are awarded when the meter at the bottom of the board fills up and when you complete particularly difficult orders.)
  5. Explore the crevice on your Home Island – you can sometimes find diamonds there. (It can be unlocked by completing missions on your Home Island.)
  6. Unlock new achievements.
  7. Win them in the butterfly-catching mini-game.
  8. Purchase them from the bank or take advantage of limited-time offers.
