On the Island of the Desert Library, we must find Bazildur. He is the only one who can tell us about the Ring of the Celestial Flame. But before we can trust him, Samantha must ensure he speaks only the truth.
In return for his honesty, Bazildur, the ifrit, asks us to build a grand library to house his collection of books.
To build the library, we’ll need a large quantity of marble, which can be found scattered across the island.
The library is completed, but Bazildur is still not satisfied. He now wants us to retrieve ancient scrolls to fill the shelves and relics to decorate the halls.
But the scrolls and relics are fiercely guarded — mummies stand watch over them!
To defeat a mummy, you can strike with 10 energy or use a banishing lamp
Among the relics brought to the library, we discover a mysterious sarcophagus. When Bazildur sees it, something unexpected happens: Mentuhotep’s mummy awakens. The ifrit is visibly afraid and begs Samantha to banish this powerful creature.
Mentuhotep can be fought like any other mummy, although, he’s much stronger. You’ll need more energy and banishing lamps to win this battle.
We then learn the truth: it was Bazildur who tricked Mentuhotep, causing him to be turned into a mummy. As Lazarus warned us, genies are cunning and always have their own agendas.
Bazildur eventually reveals that many of his fellow genies are imprisoned in the bandit caves. He asks for our help to free them.

Search the bandits' loot for hidden lamps
But the bandits haven’t abandoned the caves, and Samantha is ambushed by the desert rogues! They have no intention of letting her leave without a fight.
We can either use force or try to bribe each bandit with gold coins or a specific item that they like.
You can strike a bandit with 10 energy, bribe him with 2000 gold coins, or give him 2 hibiscus tea, gazpacho, stained glass, 2 vases, or other items, depending on the bandit’s weakness
There’s also an option to ask Lazarus for help in dealing with the rogues.
After defeating the bandits, we must act quickly, and deliver 9 lamps to Bazildur to free the imprisoned genies.
With every part of the agreement fulfilled, Samantha has held up her end of the bargain, even though Bazildur clearly intends to use the library for a different purpose.
At last, Bazildur reveals the truth about the ring: the true source of its magic lies in the stone set within it. He tells us that if this stone is combined with the Hand of the Sun — a sacred artifact kept in the Temple of the Sun — its bearer will gain immense power.
If Brok’zul gets the Hand of the Sun first, he could become unstoppable. We must reach it before he does!
Hint: The snake statues on the island seem long forgotten. Try restoring them and see what happens!
